  • I realized that I haven't posted any "recent" pictures of Hailey.  Enjoy!

Evidently she didn't want to be on her stomach, because she spit up right after I took this pic.

Hailey likes her grandpa.  She is almost always good and "smiley" for him.

  • So the "annoying" waiting period begins.  The meeting went good.  The middle school athletic director (who is also the principal) wants to talk to the high school A.D. to make sure he is going through the process correctly, since he has never hired a volleyball coach before.  (This is his first year as A.D.)  It is going to be alot of responsibility.  For those that live nearby, they are still looking for another coach.  :)  The thing that I am dreading most is cutting girls from the team.  We would be practicing during the summer but then would have a "try-out" week in August.  Last year they had almost 30 girls try out for the 7th grade team.  I told them that I would be willing to do either 7th or 8th grade.  Alot depends upon what other coach they hire and what that coach would prefer.  I should hopefully be hearing back from the middle school A.D. next week.  (He did say that me working at the prison helps him out because he already knows that I have cleared the FBI/BCI background checks!)

  • I am nervously/excitedly waiting for tomorrow afternoon to come.  I will be meeting with the athletic director of a local public school at 2pm.  It looks like I may be coachin either 7th or 8th grade volleyball this fall.  :)  It is not the first time that I have helped with a volleyball team but it will be my first time as the actual coach.   My boss has been very gracious and is letting me switch my schedule around a little bit so that I would be able to get off work into time to go to practice.

  • thanks

In the last week we have received two envelopes, each containing a gift.  One was anonymous and one was not.  I am not going to mention any names, but thanks to those that gave.  YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.  May God bless you.  Keep praying that JJ would be able to get a full time job in the near future.
